Hopin

This year, CGN will be utilizing an online conference platform called Hopin. Hopin is a virtual venue with multiple interactive areas that are optimized for connecting and engaging. Attendees can move in and out of rooms just like an in-person event, and enjoy the content and connections we’ve created for you.

Get Registered for the Conference

Set up a profile through the link above. Through your profile other attendees will be able to recognize you, video chat with you, and direct message you. We recommend uploading a headshot so that other attendees know who you are! Once you have a profile set up, you can enter the conference through the "Enter the Conference" page! Keep in mind, it will not go live until August 10.

Reception

Upon entering the conference, you will immediately see our reception area. On this page, you will see our sponsors, speakers, and schedule. If you want to save any schedule segment to your calendar, there will be a calendar icon by the time. You can also see the tab, in which each segment will take place.

Features

The conference features include: visiting the stage for main sessions, visiting the expo booths, chatting with our vendors, and participating in scheduled networking. When a portion of the conference is live, the word “LIVE” will appear in red. For more information about the platform features, scroll down to the "Conference Features" section. For more help during the conference, visit the "Expo" section and find our help booth.

Interactions

This conference is interactive. You can jump onto the main event chat, or participate in session and stage chats. You can also chat with other attendees directly or set up video calls. Search for a specific attendee in the “People” tab on the right panel on the Hopin platform. We will have a scheduled time to meet new attendees in the “Networking” tab; check the schedule for more information!

Notifications & Profile

In the top, right-hand corner of the Hopin platform, you will have notifications and direct messages available. You will also be able to click on your profile picture to edit your account, profile, or modify the language to your preference.

Share Your Video

Our sessions and some of our expo booths allow you to share your video. Navigate to a boothor a session, and select "Share Audio & Video" in the top right of the video screen. Keep in mind the sessions will be moderated, so the moderator will have to accept your request to video share.

Reception

First thing you see in Hopin is the Reception Area! Think of Hopin as a virtual venue!

Chat

There is an event chat to the right where you can communicate with other attendees!

Polls

There may be polls conducted to see how the experience is throughout the conference, so stay tuned for that!

People

This tab shows who is participating in the event! You can direct message with other attendees during the events happening on The Stage area.

Stage

This is where you can watch the main sessions and discussion panels during the conference.

Sessions

This is the area where you can participate in group breakout sessions.

Networking

This is the one-to-one meeting area. You can meet other people over video chat and start networking with the other attendees!

Expo

This is the virtual vendor booth hall! You can connect with other exhibitors and learn about resources available during this conference!
